Founder & Managing Principal
Choudhry Muzaffar is the principal and founder of The Uptown Group, he brings over 20 years of experience within the built environment working for developer's, leading consultants and non governmental organizations (NGO's) within the United States and Gulf region.
Having worked on a wide range of property types ranging from Grocery Anchored Shopping Centers, Hospitality Development, Redevelopment Opportunities to Master Planned Cities, with a focus on ground up development, operator selection and contract negotiation, leasing, asset management, financial analysis and valuation.
Choudhry is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana, B.A. Economics, holds a MS in Real Estate from Roosevelt Universities Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Choudhry is full member of the Urban Land Institute, RICS, ICSC and CCIM.
